Privacy policy

Love Me Sew is a small sewing blog run from Yorkshire. We keep this simple: we don't sell anything from this site, we don't run a mailing list you haven't asked to join, and we don't sell your data to anyone. This page explains the bits that do apply.

What we collect

When you visit, our web server records standard technical information in its logs — your IP address (anonymised where possible), the pages you request, the time of the visit, your browser type, and the page that referred you. We use this only to keep the site running, understand which posts are useful, and spot abuse.

Cookies and advertising

We show adverts to help cover the cost of running the blog. Our advertising partners may set cookies or use similar technologies to measure ad performance and, in some cases, to show ads relevant to your interests. These cookies are set by the ad networks, not by us, and are governed by those networks' own privacy policies. You can control or block cookies in your browser settings.

Links to other sites

Some posts link to other websites. Once you follow a link off Love Me Sew, you're on someone else's site, and we're not responsible for how they handle your data.

Email

If you email us at [email protected], we'll keep your message so we can reply. We won't add you to any list or share your address.

Your rights

If you're in the UK or EU, you can ask what personal data we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. We hold very little — essentially server logs and any emails you've sent — so this is usually quick.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the site works in a way that affects your privacy, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
